The lowering of Lake Saint Louis also brings the lowering of Peruque Creek.  For paddlers, that severely limits our ability to go up the creek.  With this in mind, and in keeping with the season, we’re calling an audible.  Instead of going up the creek to check out the fall colors, we’re going to paddle around the little lake to check out the foliage.  We’ll gather near the lower parking lot at the CA Clubhouse, and launch around 1:00pm on Saturday, November 2.  Please remember that lifejackets are required for all Club organized paddling events (and always a good idea anyway).  This is a BYOB (bring your own boat) event, so if you don’t have one, ask a neighbor!
