Windy Wednesdays (or Windsdays) – Your New Midweek Sailing Tradition! ⛵
Set your sails and your calendar for Windy Wednesdays—a weekly evening sail that brings club members together for fun, friendship, and fair winds! Whether you're sharpening your tacking technique or just enjoying the breeze with fellow sailors, this is your chance to get out on the water and be part of our vibrant sailing community.
On Wednesday evenings during the summer, join us as we hoist our sails in unison, share tips, swap stories, and build both our skills and our camaraderie. New sailors and seasoned skippers alike are welcome—come solo, bring a crew, or hop aboard with others. It’s not a race (unless you make it one!), but it’s always a good time.
Why join Windy Wednesdays?
✅ Improve your sailing skills
✅ Meet fellow members & make new friends
✅ Enjoy consistent, low-key time on the water
✅ Make sailing a weekly habit!
Mark your calendar, bring your enthusiasm, and catch the wind with us every Wednesday during the summer. Let's make this a club tradition worth looking forward to!
NOTES:
This is not a supervised activity. While club leaders are likely to be on hand to provide guidance and assistance, YOU may find yourself leading your own adventure (or others!).
You are welcome (encouraged) to bring your own boat, but the club boats will available.
The club Sunfish will be available on a first-come/first-served basis. However, we do expect club members to share the boats as needed so that everyone gets a chance to sail.
