⚓ Greybeard the Pirate’s Annual Junior Pirate Tryouts & Recruitment Party ⚓

All brave lads and lasses (kids of all ages) who be members of the LSLCA are hereby summoned to test their mettle at Greybeard’s Annual Junior Pirate Tryouts!

Do ye have what it takes to sail the seven seas (or at least the two lakes)? To hunt for treasure? To join the fiercest crew this side of the ocean (or maybe just the Mississippi)? Now’s your chance to prove it!

🏴‍☠️ Potential pirates will face daring challenges, including:
• Walking the “plank”
• Treasure hunting trials
• On-the-water Pirate battles
• Dressing and speaking like a Pirate
• And other swashbuckling fun!

Those who show true pirate courage, cleverness, and spirit shall:
💰 Receive pirate booty (treasure and prizes!)
⚔️ Be officially welcomed into Greybeard’s mighty crew
🏴‍☠️ Earn bragging rights across the seven seas

So polish your boots, practice your “Arrr!”, and prepare for adventure!

📍 Location: Lake Sainte Louis (meet by the LSLCA Clubhouse lower parking lot)
⏰ Time: Ye must be ashore and ready to set sail by 1:00pm

Fair winds and following seas await!  All apprentice pirates will be required to wear a life jacket, so bring ‘em if ye got ‘em.  And if ye got yer own ship (could be a kayak, or other floating craft), bring that too!  And be prepared to get wet, as there be no dry pirates on this adventure!

Register in advance below (required, as space is limited), using our online form (below). The party is free for Sailing & Paddling Club members (and family and guests), and $5 donations requested for non-club members.

Come to the lower parking lot at the LSLCA the day of the event.
